Stormbreaker

One of the coolest thing about Thor is his weapons.So, as a major fan I decided to make his most power weapon stormbreaker.Now that I'm done I would like to share my progress in hopes of

5mm EVA foam

Cardboard

Print the image above out

Tape

Mod Podge

Wood

Hot glue gun

Sandpaper

3M™ Super 77™ Multipurpose Adhesive

Cut out the blade from the picture you printed out and trace it on cardboard twice.Then cut out the cardboard pieces and tape them together.It should look like the image above.

Do step one again to get two pieces.

Now connect the 2 pieces by hot glueing them to make it look like the image above.

After that get pieces of cardboard and glue them on to the axe head so it look like this

After you're done with the previous step,cut a small hole in the back and glue your wood to the axe head it should look like the image above

Now you will start making the hammer part of stormbreaker trace out the hammer sides twice on the cardboard and cut it out. I don't have a hammer side of stormbreaker but you can look at this picture of the hammer trace in foam to get an idea on what it should look like.

After that hot glue it on to the rest of the piece like in the image above don't mind that back piece.

Now using cardboard glue it on to cover the rest of stormbreaker so it looks like this

Ok so at this point the stormbreaker should be in wood but make a drawing on the foam twice that looks like the image above cut it out.Then spray 3M™ Super 77™ Multipurpose Adhesive on the sides on place the pieces of foam onto the cardboard .Now it should look like the second picture.

Ok now cover the rest of the cardboard stormbreaker with the foam so it look like this image

After doing that get your sandpaper or whatever you use to sand and sand off a bits of glue that's sticking or any pieces of foam sticking out.Don't stop sanding until its in the shape you want it to be

Now cover all the foam with Mod podge

You're ready to paint now so the rest is really optional because you can make it any color you want but I painted the storm-breaker itself all silver.Then paint the stick brown.I also made some cool designs on the axe that you can also do.
