Stop and Go!
This project was inspired by LED WILL CONTROLLED BY DIFFERENT DEVICES WITH ARDUINO-UNO (https://www.instructables.com/LED-WILL-CONTROLLED-BY-DIFFERENT-DEVICES-WITH-ARDU/). Originally, this project makes a simple LED device. Since this product is not attractive and functional, I decide to make some changes.
First, I add a LCD screen for an indication of text. Second, I change the color of light bulb from green to red and add a crocodile clip because this light bulb represents the start of a race. By switching the light bulb on and off, the LCD screen would pop up the word GO when the light bulb is on, which is similar to the light signals before a automobile racing. Last, I add a container to cover the wires, so this looks like a real device.
Sets Up the Board
In this project, I had done two versions, on the left is the incorrect version, since I accidentally connect the wires in the wrong position. For instance, I connect the LCD wires incorrectly.
On the right side, I figure out which wires I have placed incorrectly and eventually fix it. In addition, I add one crocodile clip, so the LED light could be visible above the container. This change is reasonable because observers have to see the light, so they know when to start.
Materials:
1x Arduino leonardo
1x breadboard
1x Led green light
1x LCD screen
1x crocodile clip
7x wires
1x Laptop (Arduino code transmission)
1x USB cable (connect laptop and Arduino)
1x tape (tape is used for placing LED green light in a fixed position)

Find a Container
Since you would not directly find the wires in any device, I decide to use a simple box for placing Arduino and breadboard. However, this could be improved by only sticking the box with four sides, only left with the LCD screen and LED light bulb.
