Stool From Old Pouf.

Hello !

I'v found old and ugly pouf and then i'v got an idea: why not recycling it :)

So....... lets do it !!!

Step 1: Preparing Materials

Materials:

  • old spool ( from the trash)
  • square wooden peg ( remains from the old project )

Tools:

  • miter saw
  • hammer
  • measure
  • pencil

I've cut the pin for 3 pieces ... cm at an angle of ... degrees.

Next separated the pin from the spool ( I was need only one round top )

Step 2: Legs of the Stool

Materials:

  • stuffs from step 1 :)
  • wood glue
  • screws
  • white paint

Tools:

  • drill
  • brush

I've glued and screwed legs to the round bottom.

In the next step construction was painted on white ( i didn't sanding peg so it was necessary painting it 3 times )

Step 3: Binding the Poof

Material:

  • two peaces of material ( light grey and dark grey - in my case )
  • old poof
  • threads

Tools:

  • sewing machine
  • measure

Unfortunately i don't have a picture for sewing process :(

But!!! I was measuring and cut the fabric, and then (with my "super sewing powers" ) i was sewed it together.

The cover came a bit too big for me. But that does not matter. It will be easier to dress poof up :)

Step 4: "Dressing" the Poof

Tools:

  • stapler

I've put a poof on the legs of the stool, I pulled the fabric and nailed it with a stapler

Almost DONE :)

Step 5: Decoraying

Materials:

  • jute rope

Tools:

  • glue gun

I've cut the rope to the right dimension and glued it on joining point ( between legs and material border )

And that's all !!!

Step 6: Grand FINAL :)
