I hate it when a drawer will just not stay closed (see image 2). Using a couple of magnets solved the problem.

Supplies

Gorilla Glue (I keep the glue bottle stored upside down in a can so that it is ready to use).

Grade N42 Super Disc Magnets 1/2"x1/16" - quantity 2 per drawer.

Attach Magnet to Inside of Drawer

1) Determine the location for the magnets: one on the inside of the drawer near one corner (see image 1) and one on the cabinet where the first magnet will meet the cabinet when closed.

2) Glue one magnet to the drawer (see image 1) - clamp in place for thirty to sixty minutes.

Attach Magnet to Counter

1) Glue second magnet to the counter (see image 1) - hold in place for two minutes.

2) Close drawer so that the first magnet holds the second magnet in place. Keep drawer closed for thirty to sixty minutes.

Clean Off Excess Glue
