Easy Mountain Berry Pie

Gather your ingredients.

4.5 cups frozen berry medley

3 tbl cornstarch

½ cup sugar

2 pre-made pie crusts

9 inch pie plate

Mixing bowl

preheat the oven to 375 degrees

Measure out 4.5 cups of frozen berries

Add the berries the mixing bowl

Measure out ½ cup of sugar

Add the sugar to the berries

Measure 3 tablespoons of cornstarch and add it to the berries and sugar

Mix until the berries are covered in sugar and cornstarch

Spray the 9 inch pie plate

Open up one pie crust

Carefully unroll the crust

Put the crust in the pie plate

Add the berry mixture to the pie crust

Open the other pie crust and carefully unroll it

Place the pie crust on top of the berries

Using your fingers, pinch the edges of the pie crust together- the whole way around the pie

Using a fork, poke a few holes in the top of the pie

Now, get out an old baking sheet and cover it in foil

Place the foil covered sheet on the shelf below where you want the pie to go- this will help catch any juice that bakes over from the pie

Place the pie on the shelf above the foil covered sheet

Set the timer for 50 minutes

Ta-Da

When the timer goes off take the pie out of the oven.  The crust should be a light golden brown.  Allow to cool for 20 minutes before serving.
