Statement Soutache Earrings

I wanted to make dangling and elegant earrings. I wanted to mix the materials to obtain an absolutely original and unique piece of jewelry. That we do not see anywhere else. So I selected the materials, imagined its appearance and selected the colors.

In the end, I chose to marry:

• Very trendy colors for the next season
• Crystal pearls which reflect with the brilliance of hematites
• Yellow pearls to contrast the set of colors.

The result is even brighter than I expected. In addition, they are long and yet so light.

In this instructable, I wanted to show you how to obtain a Unique Jewel with great precision and patience.
A jewel that looks like you.

To make these earrings, you need:

• Crystal beads in 3 different sizes
• drop-shaped hematites
• seed beads
• cat's eye for the yellow pearl
• soutache yarn (3 differents colors)
• ear hooks
• a pearl needle
• nylon thread
• scissors
• glue

Arrange the 3 soutache threads together, giving the shape of the hematite drop.

Thread the needle with the nylon from the inside and sew in small steps going around.

Pass the needle through the hole of the drop several times to secure it.

Add a few small drops of glue to the thickness of the drop to attach it to the soutache wires.

Join the threads at the tip by passing through several times with the needle.

This is the result with the hematite drop.

Sew a few small seed beads on each side of the drop.

Sew the large crystal beads on top. Give shape to the soutache thread.

Add another tier with the medium crystal beads. Form a zig zag with the soutache.
This is the back of the jewelry.

Sew the crystal beads asymmetrically.
Add the top floor, sewing the small beads. Then cut the soutache threads at the same time.

Sew the same 3 soutache threads around the yellow bead.

Fold the soutache threads behind then cut.

The finish is very important. You have to join the soutache threads after having cut them clearly.

Now you have to sew the first part with the top piece. Pass the needle right through at the junction points.

Gather the materials needed to make the second earring.

Give the shape to the 3 soutache threads. Pass the needle with the nylon through them.

You have to sew symmetrically in order to obtain the same result on the 2 earrings.
Secure the ear hook with the nylon thread and decorate with 2 small seed beads on each side.

The earrings are finally finished.

The result is bright and rich in color!
