Recycle Starbucks Frappachino bottles into a bank to save change for your next drink.

Gently Cut a Slot

Using a utility knife with a sharp blade, cut a long slit and 2 short ones across the top of the long slit.

Open the Slot

Using needle nose pliers, gently draw the back of the plier along the slit to open it a bit. Do not press to deep.

Fold Over the Sharp Edges

Using the needle nose pliers, gently grab the edge of the slit and fold it over a bit. Work along the edge of the slir gently folding the metal over so that it stands up a bit.

Flatten the Edges

Using a dowel, push on the bent upright edges away from the slot and flatten the metal. Be sure to use care as the metal will be sharp and this step should create a non sharp edge along the slot.

Finished Cap

After bending the edges over, using the dowel, continue to press down on the edges so that they are flat and the cap will be completed.

Finished Bank

Put the cap back on the bottle, that should have been washed out first, and the bank is complete.
