Stain Remover

This is a quick home remedy to lift tough stains and is cheap and really effective. This can be used on almost any surface without fear of harm. Granite, stainless steel, walls, and clothing are just a few of the surfaces you can clean. Lemon juice is acidic, smells great, and dissolves a variety of stains with the help of baking soda. Lemons and baking soda have been around forever and are safe and easy to use to get rid of rust, wine, odors, toothpaste grout, and many other residues.

You will need:

- A lemon

- Baking Soda

- A Sponge

1. The first thing you will want to do is grab your lemon and cut off a slice. You will want enough juice in the slice to cover your stain.

2. Soak your stain in lemon juice for 10-15 minutes depending on how tough you think your stain is. If your stain isn't on a flat surface you can tape or rubber-band your sliced lemon to the surface. Improvise!

3. On the rough side of your sponge sprinkle a little of your baking soda and scrub the stain. With any luck the stain should come right off and you should have a pleasant citrus smell. For blood or red wine salt is good to add as well.
