Spring Salad

Instead of taking high-calorie, high-fat food as snacks. Salads are a healthier option they make you feel full quickly and are full of nutrients. This salad contains a trio of detox ingredients. Apples, tomatoes and dandelions are all good for detoxification.

Do not use dandelions if you are allergic to ragweed.

Ingredients:

  1. 1 medium apple
  2. 4-5 olives
  3. 4-5 cherry tomatoes ( I have used Italian date tomatoes)
  4. 4-5 dandelion flowers ( washed and dried)
  5. 1 tsp olive oil
  6. 1 tsp lemon juice
  7. salt to taste

PREP AND ASSEMBLE:

1.Place thinly sliced apples at the bottom of your salad bowl.

2.Top with tomatoes.

3. Add whole olives.

4.Lastly add washed and dried dandelion flowers.

5. Drizzle with olive oil and lemon juice season with salt.

Serve immediately.
