Spongebob : Krab's First Dollar

Anyone remembers that episode where Spongebob and Patrick repaint the house of M. Krab? The episode is Wet Painters. I wanted a Spongebob props and this was one of the simpliest to do so if you're a fan of Spongebob this is for you! The material to use :
- Bamboo pole
- Paper
- Cardboard
- A background for you frame like in the pictures... ( I used old fiberglass cloth)
Cut Your Bamboo

The size of the frame is 8 1/2'' x 11'' (like a normal sheet of paper). The diameter of the bamboo is 1 1/2''. First, cut all the corners in a 45 degree angle.
Glue Your Frame

I used hot glue to assemble the frame.
Paint Your Background

The only thing I found in my home with a "linear" background was my old fiberglass cloth. So, I cut it with the same dimension of my frame and I painted it in gray. (with spray paint)
Glue Your Background

Simply glue your background at the back of your frame
First Dollar

Print the first dollar and DON'T FORGET to add the white spot that Spongebob made. ;)
Frame Signature

Ok, I forgot to take some pictures here but I used 2 layer of cardboard. I engraved Cap. Krab in the first layer and I glue it to the second. I Paper Mache the result and I painted it in Chrome color.
Final Result

An easy DIY project for everyone for cheap. Hope you enjoyed it, any comment is welcome.
