Spiral Potatoes

Here is a original way to cook your potatoes. Tired of mashed potatoes, cubes, french fries, crisps, etc? Then try the spiral potatoes!

What You Need

Supplies

- A large gratin dish

- A knife

- 4 wooden skewers

Ingredients (for four)

- 4 potatoes

- 2 cloves of garlic

- Some grated parmesan

- salt/pepper

- butter

- olive oil

- herbs and spice

(Basically anything you like to season your potatoes with)

Prepare the Potatoes

1. Wash your patatoes

2. Dry with a towel your patatoes

3. Pierce each of your patatoes with the wooden skewers

1. Cut with a good knife your potatoes in spiral. Make sure to cut them thin enough. Cut until you reach the wooden skewer.

I put my potatoes on the table and cut them rolling them bit by bit, it's easier and safer.

Add Seasonning

1. Add some oil (it will prevent your butter from burning)

2. Add your spices and herbs

3. Cut your garlic and put some bits between your spirals

4. Add your parmesan and butter

5. Put some tinfoil around the wooden skewers to prevent it from burning

Cook and Eat

1. Cook your potatoes in an oven at 200°C for about 30 minutes.

2. Enjoy your Spirals!
