Cut Out Circle

Use a 6" saucer to trace out a circle on the back side of your Spider-Man paper. Find the center and draw another circle about 1.5" in diameter. Cut out along you drawn lines and you'll end up with something that resembles a paper CD. Then at about every inch or so cut a slit from the edge of the paper towards the center ring. Don't cut all the way through. Leave about 1/2" uncut. You'll end up with something that looks like a paper flower with a hole in the center.

Add Spider and Glue on Paper

The plastic spider should be able to flex enough you can take the top of the ornament and slide him in. Replace the cover. Go ahead and saturate the back of your paper to a glue and water mixture. Just use one part glue per one part water. A paint brush might make this easier. Then slide the middle hole over the top of your ornament. Smooth down the paper fins. They may have to overlap each other. Start brushing on the glue mixture on the top of the paper. Be careful not to drip. Let dry.

Ribbon

Adding ribbon around where the paper meets the plastic ornament adds a finished edge. Glue in place using hot glue or your glue mix. Once the glue is set, add on the cardboard letters to spell out a name. Hot glue works best for this.

Extras

Add your ribbon tie to hang from the tree.
You're basically done here but you can add little ribbon remnants or a paper tag with more of your comic paper. cut out a tag shape and glue onto another piece of paper (use a complementing color) then cut out around that second layer. Punch a hole near the top, tie on a ribbon and tie to the top of the ornament.

Admire
