Spicy Chicken Bites

These are fast and simple, baked not fried.  

I used to call them Buffalo bites until I realized everyone else adds extra butter and sugar to the hot sauce to make "buffalo sauce"  so now I'll just call them Spicy Bites!

Ingredients

This recipe makes enough for two people if served with a vegetable or other side dish.

3/4 lb (12 oz) chicken breasts cut into bite size pieces
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 cup whole wheat flour
Frank's Original Red Hot sauce
cooking spray

Preheat oven to 450ยบ

Bake

Toss the chicken bites with the garlic & paprika.

Then toss with the flour.

Line a cookie sheet with non-stick foil and spray lightly with cooking spray.

Spread the chicken pieces out so they aren't touching.

Bake on the middle rack for 10 minutes.

Turn all the pieces over and cook for another 4 minutes.

Sauce It!

Remove the chicken from the oven and they should look crisp and golden brown.

Place into a bowl and toss with the Frank's Hot Sauce to taste - the more you add the hotter it gets.

Serve!

These are also great cut up into smaller bits and put on homemade pizza!
