This project is about combining art and technology by creating infinitive forms that resemble microorganisms found in the ocean. These microorganisms are known for their ability to adapt to their surroundings.

By bringing together art and technology, we hope to capture the beauty and adaptability of these organisms in a visually stunning object. This project aims to showcase the wonders of the natural world and explore the possibilities of combining art and technology for creative and innovative design.

The goal of is to design a visually striking object that draws inspiration from the intricate forms found in sand dollar larvae and other captivating sea creatures like brain coral. The use of neon colors adds to the captivating nature of the object.

FUSION OF SAND DOLLAR AND BRAIN CORAL

Combining the features of the sand dollar's shape and the vibrant neon colors of brain corals on Midjourney can result in a unique and visually appealing sea creature. However, for this project I needed an image with a more flattened shape.

The Rhino and Grasshopper provided me with a more efficient workflow, as I could easily make changes to the design and have those changes automatically reflected in the baked image.

The parametric modeling capabilities of Grasshopper allowed me to experiment with different variations of the design, test different parameters, and quickly iterate to achieve the desired outcome.

The end result was this piece that combined elements of the sand dollar and brain corals. I you look at it from the top view you can see the main piece; the circular structure on top that mimics the shape of a sand dollar, with intricate patterns and textures reminiscent of its unique shape.
