This is a cold, refreshing superfood beverage, and tastes utterly amazing. It's chock full of antioxidants, fiber, protein, and Omega-3's, and it's so easy to make.
You'll need:
Chia seeds
Sparkling water
Stevia packets
Frozen fruit and/or berries (I used blueberries and pineapple)
Soak two tablespoons of chia seeds in half a cup of cold water for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally to break up the clumps.
Split the soaked chia seeds into two large glasses, add 1/2 cup each of blueberries and pineapple (or similar amounts of other frozen fruits or berries). Sprinkle each with half a packet of stevia, pour in your sparkling water to top the glasses off, and stir to combine.
I like to drink mine with a straw. Sucking up the puffy little chia seeds has a similar mouth-feel to boba, making it fun. Enjoy!
