Spaghetti Squash With Pasta Sauce!

A delicious spaghetti dinner that is rich in nutrients, gluten free, and entirely organic!

Supplies and Prep

You will need:

Equipment:
-An Oven
-A Sharp Knife
-A Cutting Board
-A Fork and spoon
-A Skillet
-An Appetite

Ingredients:
-Spaghetti Squash (1)
-Meat (not required) (1/2lb)
-Mushrooms (1/2 cup)
-Spring Onions (2)
-Butter (2 tbsp)
-Salt and Pepper (to taste)
-Pasta Sauce (Newman's Sockarooni recommended) (1/3 jar- to taste)

Prep

*This will take approximately 30min-1hr.*

-preheat the oven to 425 degrees f.

-chop the mushrooms

-dice the onions

-Once heated, cook the squash for approx. 45min-1hr (test with a fork- skin gives easily when ready)

*Watch Out, Its HOT!*

-Cut the squash *Lengthwise* and dig out the seeds with a spoon

-Place seed mass in compost

-Using a fork, scrap the cavity *Widthwise*, the spaghetti should come out easily, and will have the appearance of spaghetti!

-Repeat with second half of squash, 'Spaghetti' can be left in or transfered to a bowl

Cook!

Heat Skillet over medium heat

-Add butter

-Once melted, add meat or skip to vegetables

-Make sure meat is cooked thoroughly before adding vegetables.

-Add mushrooms and saute lightly

-Add sauce and heat thoroughly, stirring occasionally

-Taste and add salt/pepper as needed

-Once fully heated, remove from stove and transfer to bowl.



Consume!

-Take diced Onions and sprinkle over top

-Grab that fork and Enjoy!
