The Spaghetti Pizza originated in Naples, where families tent to prepare a lot of pasta as a meal. Every left over pasta was used the next day to prepare a spaghetti pizza. With just the addition of eggs and cheese a new whole meal was prepared. The spaghetti pizza is usually eaten cold, so it can also be easily transported for a picnic or a quick meal.

Cook the Pasta

Fill a pot with water, add a handful of salt and wait for the water to boil. Add the spaghetti and wait until cooked. Once the spaghetti are ready take the out of the water and sit them aside to cool down.

You can even use leftover pasta. In that case you can avoid doing this step.

Using the same pan used for the bacon add some oil. heck that the pan is really warm and add the spaghetti pizza to the pan. Cover the spaghetti pizza with a lid and wait 3-4 minutes. From time to time, with a wooden spoon, check that the spaghetti pizza doesn`t stick on the edges.

You will know that the spaghetti pizza is ready when, by opening the lid, you can see that the majority of the egg mixture is solidified.

Turn the Spaghetti Pizza

This is a crucial step.

Once the spaghetti pizza has cooked on one side it`s time to turn it over. Turn off the stove and place a big plate on the pan. By pressing the plate against the pan turn both of them over (Be really careful during this step).

Turn the stove on again, place the pan on top and slide the spaghetti pizza from the plate to the pan. Place the lid on top and cook for other 3 minutes.
