Spaceship 3D Design in TinkerCad
A spacecraft is a vehicle or machine designed to fly in outer space. A type of artificial satellite, spacecraft are used for a variety of purposes, including communications, Earth observation, meteorology, navigation, space colonization, planetary exploration, and transportation of humans and cargo. All spacecraft except single-stage-to-orbit vehicles cannot get into space on their own and require a launch vehicle (carrier rocket).
Drag a cylinder onto workplane of diameter 10mm and height of 8mm.
Drag a ball of the diameter of 8 mm and uplift it as same as the height of the cylinder. Align both the shapes at the centre.
Add one more cylinder and set its diameter to 3mm and length to 13.14mm. Uplift the cylinder at the top of the ball. Rotate the cylinder horizontally and align it at the centre. Group all the shapes together.
Create 3 more duplicate shapes. Align them as shown. The legs of the spaceship are ready now.
Drag a ball for creating a spaceship body and change its size to 56*75mm. Reduce the height to 10 mm. Align the ball above the legs of the spaceship.
Create a duplicate of ball, reduce its size to make a hole in the spaceship at the centre. Set the size to 50*45mm. uplift the ball by 4mm and select the hole option.
Create one more duplicate of the above shape and select a solid option. Make the shape transparent of making lid of the spaceship. Set its size to 50*45mm and uplift it at the end of the hole.
Add a paraboloid for making antenna of the spaceship. Reduce its height to 2mm and set the size to 10*10mm.
Add a cone of diameter 3mm and height of 10mm. Align the cone and paraboloid.
Add 2 rings diameter of 3mm and align them as shown. Group all the shapes together.
Align the antenna above the transparent lid. Select all the bodies and group them together. Your spaceship is ready for 3d printing.
