Space Station DIY

This is a miniature model of SPACE STATION which includes a Space Ship, Rocket, Alien UFO, Transmitter and Receiver. To have a space look, Cement is used as the base layer of the space station model.

To make the model of Space Ship, cover a tetra pack with a white paper to make the body of the space ship. Cut rectangle pieces at the center of both sides of the box to make the entry and exit doors. Take a paper cup attached with bottle cap to make the front look of the space ship. Make wings of the ship with cardboard. Take a bottle and paint it with Red acrylic paint. Fix the ship on the top of the bottle. Take two cardboard rolls attached with a cone. Paint it with acrylic Grey. Fix it at the sides of bottle. Stick some cotton at the back of the cardboard rolls for a smoky look. Now the spaceship is ready.

Take a small cardboard roll attached with a cone on the top. Cut the legs of rocket with cardboard. Stick it on the cardboard roll. Now paint the rocket with acrylic Grey colour. Make some details on it with Black sketch or markers. Stick some cotton at the bottom of the carboard roll to represent it as a smoke.

Its a very simple way of making a UFO. Take two paper bowls and stick it together. Paint the bowls with acrylic Red. Get some small pieces of plastic straws and fix it at the bottom of the paper bowl. It looks like the legs of the UFO.

Now let's make the alien. Cut a semi circle shape on a Yellow coloured paper. Fold it into a cone and attach a eye to it. Place it on the top of the bowl. Take a big transparent lid and place it on the UFO covering the alien.

Get two pieces of right angled triangles with cardboard. Get the lid of a bulb. Cut the top layer of a chopstick attached with a pearl on the top of it. Fix the chopstick at the inner layer of the bulb lid. Now stick the bulb lid in the triangular cardboard. Paint it with acrylic Grey.

We need a base for making the space station.. Let's take a table covered with newspaper. Pour some amount of cement on the table. Spread it around. Place the space ship, transmitter, receiver, rocket, UFO on the table. Make sure all the objects are visible from a point. It was so nice while looking it. Try it without fail.
