Space Box

this tuturial will show you how to create beautiful space themed paintings. For this instuctable, i chose a wooden box. however you can take the skill you learn today and use the technique on countless types of canvases.

spray paint (several different colors,including white and black)

grociery bag/newspaper

round lids,spraycan caps

first thing to do is get all of your supplies. the box, the paint, plastic bag or newspaper, and round lid of some sort and/or spraycan caps

since this project uses spray paint, its best to find a nice space outside

the way to get the planets to look so amazing, is actually quite simple. first spray several different colors on top of each other on the box. then take your newspaper/bag and lay it flat on the paint(if using newspaper, crumple it up first) then peel it off. this should have made a cool design which will become yout planet. then take your round lid/spraypaint cap and place it on the part of the design you want to keep. you can do this in several spots depending on how many planets you want. then with your planets covered, spray the rest of it black. then take your white spraypaint and spray some on a piece of newspaper. then sorta "fling" the paint across your box. this creates the stars.once that is done, remove the lids/paint caps, and VIOLA!
