Sooji/ Rawa Toast.

Sooji/ rawa toast is an Indian snacks made from bread, sooji and vegetables, it's best to serve as snacks and is great option for tiffin box as it stays good in tiffinfor 3 to 5 hours. The process of making this toast is very simple and quick so what are we waiting for let's get started. Supplies

Brown bread

1 cup rawa/ semolina

1 cup curd

1 small finely chopped capsicum

1 small finely chopped onion

1 small finely chopped tomatoes

1/2 cup boiled corn

3 greeen chilli finely chopped

1/2 inch ginger finely chopped

1/4 cup green coriander finely chopped

Butter

Salt as per taste

Green chutney

Adding Semolina and Curd

In a medium bowl add one cup of semolina/ rawa and 1 cup of fresh curd mix well and keep this aside for 10 minutes.adding curd gives this toast a tangy flavour. After 10 min let's start adding other ingredients.

Adding Vegetable

After 10 min mix well and start adding vegetables onces all vegetables are added mix well if you find the mix too thick then add water as per requirement in this recipe we added just one tbsp of water to get perfect consistency

Applying Mixture on Bread

Now take four slice of bread first apply green chutney on bread slice and then apply a thin layer of prepared semolina mix. Pls make sure you apply thin layer as thick layer are not cooked nicely from middle and you will end up with soggy toast so to get perfect crispy toast a thin layer is only mantra 😃

Now grease your preheated pan nicely with butter and the place the bread with sooji side down on the tawa. Press and let it cook for 2 to 3 minutes apply butter on top side aswell.onces the vegetables side is cooked flip over to other side and cook until it's golden and crispy you can flip onces or twice and cook more if required.

Sooji Toast Is Ready

Now remove them from pan slice as required and serve hot with green chutney and tomato sauce.
