Some Reading in the Toilets...
As I have a blog since long time, I was asked to do an article for a site showing use of their products.
I decided to make a shelf for magazines combined with a toilet paper dispenser...quite useful... don't you think?

The materials are only pallet wood, a trunnion, and wood adhesive.
I first figured out the dimensions with a simple mock up.
Disassemble the Pallet and Prepare the Wooden Boards
To disassemble the pallet, I cut the nails with a saber saw, I found this way the quicker and you do not destroy the wood.
I marked the dimensions and cut with the miter saw.
I also drilled the hole for the trunnion which will receive the toilet paper rolls.
I finally sanded the boards. Now it is ready for assembly.
Assemble the Boards
I started with the back then the horizontal shelf, the sides, and finally the front boards.
Everything is glued ... maybe you can guess who was the sponsor for this article?
Decoration ... Ready to Use.
To decorate the shelf, I printed mirrored some magazines or newspapers logos, and I transfered them on the wood.
I glued the paper on the wood, and when dry, I removed the paper with water.
Result is not perfect, but I like the way it is, partly printed, like an old graffiti.
It is now ready to use.
