Cut out a curved shape out of one of the yellow to make Saturn's rings. Then use the oil pastels to liven up your planets. You only need to use the oil pastels on one of the two circles though.

Cut 9 pieces of string. Each piece should be about 2 foot long. Attach them using a square knot to the wooden dowel. Leave about an inch of space in between each piece of string. When you are done, trim the ends so that they are all even.

Then cut out another long piece of string. Tie each end of the string to each end of the dowel. This will be used to hang your finished product.

Attach the Planets, Sun, and Stars to the Strings

First use a glue dot to attach Saturn's ring to Saturn. The use 1-3 glue dots per planet to attach the string in between the two planets. Then do the same for the Sun and the stars.
