Hi everyone, we would like to introduce our product called Solar Panel tracker.

Solar Panel Tracker

Nature has many or even millions of energy in it, it is very sad that humans have not been able to maximize the use of these energies. One of them is sunlight energy. One of the uses of solar energy is solar panels. Solar panels can convert or convert sunlight energy into electrical energy. But as we knowthat solar panels have a certain distance in sunlight capture, therefore our design task called Solar tracker we designed. The function of our design is to be able to capture sunlight effectively, which our design will follow where the direction of sunlight is in order to capture sunlight properly.

Preparation

First of all, we need to prepare the equipment we need.

Such as :

  • Foundation or base ( Explained on next step )
  • Servo Motor
  • Solar panel
  • Glue ( Just in case )
  • Power Suppluy
  • Arduino
  • Jumper Cable

This Solar Panel base is made mostly from acrylic. Which will be supported by U Shapped iron and box so that the movement of the iron to hold the solar panel will be stable. Image provided so you didnt get confused

  • First of all place the acrylic at the very bottom as the main base
  • Then place the U shaped Iron above the servo motor ( Servo motor should be glued to avoid unwanted collision)
  • Between the U shaped iron place a box as weight so it can balanced
  • Above the U shaped Iron place an iron plate, the iron plate is a foundation to place the solar panel
  • Save some space at the bottom of the U shaped iron so that we can placed the jumper cable there between it.

Wiring

We Provide PDF of the wiring so that you can build it.
