Solar Moon Cable Car Model on TinkerCad
It is a cable car which can be used to travel on moon from 1 different location to other in the future when we could be living there. It has 2 solar panels attached so it can power itself up. I have made it totally on TinkerCad.
Making the Base
First of all, take a white cube shape and increase its radius to 5 and make it a rectangle as shown in the 1st photo above. Then make a similar shape of pink color decrease its height to 2 cm. Now duplicate the white base at the bottom and drag it upwards a little (above the 2 shapes). Your design will look like the 3rd image.
Making the Roof
Take another white cube, increase its diameter too and make its measurements so it looks like the image attached.
Making the Windshield
Take a wedge shape and place it as shown in the 1st image. Now take a roof top shape stretch it from the sides and decrease its height too, now tilt and place it in such a way that its base touches the wedge top as shown in the 2nd image.
Making the Hook
Make a shape as shown in the 1st image attached with the help of paraboloid and cylinder shapes. make sure the top rod is hollow as shown in the second image. Now put the shape made at the top of our car as shown in image 3.
Solar Panels
Now make the solar panel as shown in image 1 an duplicate it. Put them in the positions like shown in the 2nd image. The car is ready!
Final Step
Make 2 similar poles with cylinder shape and a thin rope with cylinder shape too, and select the whole car and drag it upwards until its hook is connected with the rope. The result will look like the image above.
Now your whole project is ready..!
