Solar Lamp

I made a solar jar that is meant to be placed in a backyard garden for aesthetic purposes.

Supplies

I used scissors, a permanent marker, drill, tin jar, steel foil tape, solar light, and galvanized metal wire.

Sealing the Jar

Wrap the outside of the tin jar in the steel foil tape.

Designing Pattern

Outline the pattern of holes on the jar and drill them in the jar. This is where the light will shine out of.

Inserting Solar Light

Cut out the top of the jar and put the solar light where the hole is. Once in place, tape in down to secure it.

Making Handle

Drill two more holes in the sides of the jar and then run the wire through it. Bend the wire in a hook shape when you put it in the jar so that it stays in place. It is now finished.
