This is a very exciting project, you can monitoring how much energy consume, produce, and battery charging and battery remain on your Solar Installation.

everything is this blog https://alejandrogermany.wordpress.com/2020/08/30/...

but I will include the same steps here.

This project is really excited because not there PWM or MPPT low cost on the market with this functionality except few of them, with Epever model and Raspberrypi, you will access through Internet to your Energy Solar System.
You can control how much energy produce, how much you consume, with graphics and tables that give you all information to monitoring your energy. THIS PROGRAM COMES WITH ABSOLUTELY NO WARRANTIES !USE IT AT YOUR OWN RISKS !

Follow the below steps:git clone https://github.com/kasbert/epsolar-tracer/tree/ma... the installation steps from Readme.

  • You might face problem when you execute make.
  • In such case do sudo apt-get install linux-headers.
  • Check that the USB UART is detected by the systemlsusb
  • Check that the CDC-ACM driver was not installed for the Exar USB UART To remove the CDC-ACM driver and install the driver:
  • # sudo rmmod cdc-acm
  • # sudo modprobe -r usbserial
  • # sudo modprobe usbserial
