I always use different chocolate chip cookies recipes but this one is the most delicious one yet! I would highly recommend this recipe.

- 125g butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 caster sugar (or white sugar)
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
- 1 cup self-raising flour
- 3/4 cup plain flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
-1 cup chocolate chips (I used milk but you could use white or dark.)
Preheat the Oven to 160°C.
Melt butter in the microwave (or in saucepan) and set aside to cool slightly.

Pour butter into a large bowl and stir in brown sugar and caster sugar until smooth. Mix for a few minutes to get any lumps out.

Lightly beat an egg with a whisk or fork and stir into the sugar mixture along with the vanilla essence.

Put the two flours and baking powder together into a small bowl and then gradually mix into sugar mixture until combined. (Do not worry about going to slowly, it is just to make it easier to mix through.)
Stir through the chocolate chips or chocolate pieces.

Put rounded tablespoons of the cookie mixture onto lined baking trays. I had two trays full of cookies to put in the oven. :)
Put in oven for 12minutes
