Soda Hat

How to build a soda drinking hat.

What you will need is one hard hat. You can get it from Lows, or Home Depot for six bucks. Two soup cans, washed out!! 4 zip ties thin rubber tubing. Four pieces of sheet metal ( I got it from my shop teacher) the metal must be 6.5cm tall and 2 cm wide. Make sure your hard hat has little slits on the side, when you get your hard hat you will know what I mean when you get it. Finally you need 1/4" cable clamps

What you will need is to bend the metal like so. It is very thin but strong and will bend with ease.

Once you get to this step NOTE: I have four pieces of metal, because I made extras in case I messed up.

Take a hack saw and cut a thin slit on the side of the can, this will work because the can is round. Now you take the metal and slide it through(see picture) catching on?? Now do the same thing on the other side.

If your hat looks like mine, congrats you have done everything right.  If it does not try it again this soda hat has many uses, while you watch tv or play video games.

Now comes the hard part.  Drill two wholes on your can (see picture) and attach the clamp along with the zip tie.  Do the same thing on the bottom hole, NOTE: the zip tie on the bottom will go to the top of the can and loop around the can.

Do the same thing on the other can, and your hat is complete.

You have finished. It should look like this put soda cans inside the soup cans, and put the tubing on and drink up.
