Make this super soft and pliable dough out of items you probably already have in the house. Great sensory activity for a snowy day. Bonus: it smells amazing!

Supplies

Lotion
Corn starch
Glitter/sequins (optional)
Bowl
Spoon
Parchment paper

Mix!

Mix one part lotion with two parts corn starch in a bowl with a spoon. The consistency will change from mostly powder, to mostly liquid, to a shaggy dough. Keep stirring! If you don't reach the shaggy dough stage after a few minutes, add a bit more corn starch and stir again.

Knead!

Dump the lotion and corn starch mixture out on some parchment paper. Use your hands to knead the dough until it easily forms a nice ball, adding more of either ingredient if the consistency isn't quite right. If it's too dry, add a little more lotion. If it's too wet, add a little more corn starch. Once it reaches the ball stage, add whatever mix ins you'd like! Glitter or sequins work well.

Play!

Now it's time to play! Put the dough on a cookie sheet or keep using the parchment paper for easy clean up and to protect your play surface. Use plastic knives, cookie cutters, rolling pins... the sky's the limit!

Store!

Keep your cloud dough in an airtight container or zip top baggie to keep from drying out.
