Here's how I made a "Smart Dustbin With Arduino and Infrared" having more accuracy then ever.You can also make it with some easy and simple steps .It can be made by anyone and it can be very usefull at every place. It's very helpfull when your both the hands are busy holding trash and you are unable to open lead. To begin we first need to get some components listed below to make Smart Dustbin.

Components we need :

1 x Arduino Uno

1 x D80NK Adjustable Infrared Sensor

1 x SG90 Servo

1 x Power Adapter

1 x Dustbin (preferred to use similar dustbin as in Video & Photos)

& some Jumper wires for connection & Glue

I would Suggest Flyrobo to Buy Components

1st Stick the Servo motor & IR sensor to the lead at your convenience or as shown in the video. Then Connect the Vcc(red wire) of the Servo & IR sensor to the 5v pin of the Arduino Uno. Then Connect the blue wire of the IR sensor to the GND pin of the Arduino Uno & Black/Brown wire of the Servo motor to the other GND pin of the Arduino Uno. Now Connect the Black signal wire of the IR sensor to the digital pin '5' of the Arduino Uno and the Yellow signal wire of the servo motor to the digital pin '4' of the Arduino Uno.

Once you connect the circuit properly check the connections again and Now it's time to Upload code on Arduino Uno ...

Copy the given code on Arduino IDE software then go to tools>Board:"Arduino Uno">Arduino AVR Boards

After securing connections & uploading the code set up everything under the lead and connect the power supply to Arduino Uno to check if everything is perfectly working ...

Once everthing is working properly fix the lead to dustbin.
