This is a small cardboard play dolls house.
- Small enough to carry.
- The back is open to place the toy figures.
- Approx. 9" x 6" x 6". (230mm x 150mm x 150mm)
- A home for those little pocket type toys.
- 1-1/4" High Figures. (30mm)
Simple to make from old corrugate cardboard boxes.
- This is made from 2.5mm thick corrugate cardboard.
I cut this using a laser cutter, but there is no reason you can cut it out using a small precision knife. (just takes longer and patience)

2.5mm Corrugate Cardboard.
- I got mine from an old box.
The treads are made from plain 0.5mm thick cardboard.
Laser Cutter, will make this project easy.
- If you don't have a laser cutter, a sharp precision knife and straight edge will do.
Glue.
- I use PVA. Any glue will do.

I have attached CAD drawings in DXF format for all the panels.
- If cutting with a laser I have a program that will convert the files into G-Code.
- Tim's XY Plotter: Tim's XY Stepper Controller (tims-xy-plotter.blogspot.com)
- Or you can use whatever you use with your machine.
If you don't have a laser cutter.
- Autodesk | 3D Design, Engineering & Construction Software
- If you are not a student there are other open source apps. like LibreCAD - Free Open Source 2D CAD
- You could use AutoCAD to print out the drawings and overlay them on the card to cut with a Knife.
- You need to print the drawings with a CAD application, the images above are just for viewing.

This is the way it is designed to go together.
- If you find it easier to do it in an other order feel free to do so.
The first step is to build the stairs.
- The Treads are made from folded card (0.5mm).
- Fold the treads along the creases in alternate directions.
- The bends want to end up at 90 degrees.
Do the following for both floors, there is a stair on the ground floor and one on the first floor.
- Glue the Stair.dxf to the inner.dxf as shown.
- Glue the folded Treads.dxf to the Stairs.dxf

Give to a young child to play with.
- You could also assist a child to assemble once you had cut the parts.
- I suppose painting could be fun thing to do with a young child next.
I did some drawings of figures.
- If you have a laser cutter, these will be easy to cut.
- It may be difficult to cut by hand out of corrugate cardboard, but out of normal card should be doable.
