Small Set of a Table and Chairs.

We built furniture just because we liked the idea and it seemed like it wouldn't be too difficult but still shows that we put effort in while making it. We built it out of balsa wood, hot glue, then we painted it.

Balsa wood, hot glue, paint.

First, we measured everything and then glued the legs together with a few 4 inch pieces of wood.

Next, we get the top of the table glued together.

Next, we glued the legs to the tabletop and made sure it was level.

We are starting the chairs now, we first got the seats of the chairs into a squares.

For the legs of the chairs we made thicker legs and got them prepared to put on the seat.

We then glued the bottoms of the chairs to the legs and put supports in between the legs for strength.

We cut out all the pieces to build the backrest of the chair.

Then we had glued the backrests to the chair and we were done.

We sanded everything and made sure everything looked level and flush.

Both things were built and now we just needed to paint them.

After we painted them we just needed to combine them and we ended up with this.
