Small Wood Box Made of 2 Packs of 6 Inch Paint Stirrers (30 Per Pack) From Home Depot

Small box made of 2 packs of 6 inch paint stirrers, with each stirrer cut in half.
Supplies




- 2 packs of 30 paint stirrers, each 6 inches long from Home Depot.
- Wood glue
- Heavy duty snips
- Tape measure
Cut Paint Stirrers



- Use tape measure to measure 1/2 of a paint stirrer.
- Use snips to cut 1st paint stirrer in half.
- Take one half of the paint stirrer and use as guide to cut additional stirrers.
- Cut all 60 paint stirrers. There should be 120 pieces left.
Build Base and First Part




- Take 4 halves and place them side by side.
- Use 2 additional halves and glue them across the 4 halves for form the base.
- Start to build walls of box by using the glue to attach 2 wood pieces at 90 degree angles to the wood at the level below it.
Finish Sides of Box



- Continue to build walls of box by continuing to add pieces at 90 degree angles.
- You may end up with an extra piece. You can cut this up and use it as decoration if you like.
