Skyrim Scroll Prop

This is a quick instructable on how to make a scroll from Skyrim. It's pretty basic so anyone should be able to make it but it looks nice on a shelf with other Skyrim props.

You want some large plain paper for your scroll, I used A2 (may be called something different in other countries) A3 would also work.

Once you've found some large paper you need to make a cup of coffee, tea would also work but would be lighter.

Dip a paintbrush in the coffee (or tea) and paint the paper with it until it is covered. You may want to cover your work surface with paper so the coffee won't stain.

Wait for it to dry or use a hair-dryer, then turn it over and do the other side.

You may want to do something on the inside (although you won't be able to see it) I drew the fire shout in the dragon language. (Yol Toor Shul) But you can do what you want, look online for ideas.

Next you need to burn the edges to make it look ancient. Use a lighter but be careful not to burn too much. I would recommend you to do this in the kitchen so you can drop it in the sink if the whole thing goes up in flames.

Then roll it up and tie some string round it. Use old string or dip it in the coffee to stain it.
