Once the dough has risen divide into 3 equal sections and roll in between your hands or on a work surface to create ropes about 14 inches long.

Pinch one end of the ropes together then place on a baking sheet.

Braid the Ropes into a fairly tight braid then cover again with a cloth to allow the dough to rise for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.

Preheat the oven to 220*c.

Beat the remaining egg in a small bowl and brush it onto the dough, then bake for about 25 minutes until the bread is dark and glossy color.

Place the baked bread on a wire cooling rack and allow it to cool completely for at least 15 to 30 minutes before slicing.

ENJOY!!!

PS-The bread pairs well with butter and jam or can be enjoyed plain.
