Skelophin is a skeleton of mouse which

u can make easily on your own at your home, and decorate for house with a show piece like this.

This tutorial will show you how to make a skelophin with cardboard….

Supplies

Supplies:

· Cardboard

· Fevicol

· White paper

· Water colour

· Coloured sheet

· Scissor

Drawing

Draw a skeleton of a mouse with pencil on white plane sheet. Then make all parts separately on the other white sheet. You can make it of a size whichever you want.

Cutting

Cut all the parts of skeleton with the help of scissor which were make in step 1. Take a cardboard and trace all the figures of skeleton with pencil. Then cute the figures which are made on cardboard and paste the white sheet on it with fevicol.

Actual Shape

Now turn all

the parts into actual shape.

1. Skull: bend the skull of mouse from left and right in the lower direction, and make it in a circular way like a semi circle. As in fig1

2. Lower skull: bend it in the same way as it is in the 1st point but in the upper direction. As in fig2

3. Ribs: bend it in a lower direction from left and right. As in fig3

4. Tale: for tale u have to roll a plane white sheet into a straw. The make 2 cuts on it from little distance and bend it in a circular way so that it looks like a tale. As in fig4

5. Spikes: make a small cuts all the spikes ……. Spikes base, spike 1, spike 2, back spikes, support for spikes. As in fig5 and fig6

Paste

paste things

together and make different parts of a skeleton.

1. Join the upper part of skull with lower one, as in fig7

2. Join the ribs together from downside with the help of one rectangular sheet, as in fig8

3. Then paste the triangular shapes- spikes of ribs, on the ribs as in fig9

4. Join the parts of front legs and back legs all together, as in fig10

5. Now take the cut out of support for spikes and all other types of spikes, then insert them in support for spikes from the cut which is shown in fig5 and fig6, as in fig11

Paint

Paint all the parts of skeleton

Ø Firstly mix two colour together skin and white with a bit of water and paint it on.

Ø Then mix dark brown and a bit of white with few drops of water and paint it.

Ø Let it dry for around half an hour.

Final Step

Glue all the parts together

1. Paste front legs on ribs around 3rd or 4th rib bone.

2. Paste back legs on support for spikes in between the back spikes.

3. Paste support for spikes to the ribs with glue.

4. Paste the neck in front of ribs.

5. Now Insert skull into the neck a bit.

6. Then paste tale of the mouse to the end of support for spikes.

7. And then paste the feets on the lower side of legs, ears at the top of skull and teeth on around the opening mouth of the skull.

Now make a base with cardboard and paste a coloured sheet on it, and make the mouse stand on it. You can even paste it on the cardboard base.
