A good sitting posture is vital to a child's learning and growth.However, there are still many problems with sitting posture for students and adults.The cultivation of good sitting posture is an important content of health education, and also an important and urgent task.Enough should arouse the attention and attention of the school, society and parents.So we tried to build a device that would provide feedback when the neck was leaning forward or sitting for too long.

Step1:Components Needed

1. Ultrasonic distance sensor

Step2:How it works

First, we use a Ultrasonic distance sensor to measure the distance from the neck to the chair. When the distance is greater than the set value, it will be determined to neck-forward, and a red light will light up and a buzzing alarm will be sounded. In addition, we use a distance of correct sitting position recorded before to detect whether the person is standing or leaving the seat. When the difference between the current light intensity and the initial sitting state is greater than the set value, it is considered to be standing state. When the sitting time is greater than the set value, it is it will be determined to be sitting for a long time, and the red light will be on and a buzzing alarm will be sounded.

Practicability of the project
The project can be most widely used in the office, for office workers in a long-term sitting state, so they can use the device to correct their sitting posture. Because when people's sitting posture is not standard, the device will give an alarm, so the office staff will maintain a standard sitting posture in order not to affect other people's work. It can also be used in schools to correct students' sitting posture in the same way. It can also be used in some military training. This equipment can be used to check whether the sitting posture of soldiers meets the requirements. The equipment of this project can be made into installable type or the style of the inside of the chair
