Greetings folks, I'm sharing a quick, simple, few ingredients, egg scrambler for busy moms. My toddler love this simple, fluffy scrambled to perfection egg... I hope your family will enjoy it as well...

Total Prep Time: 3 Minutes

Total Cook Time: 2 Minutes

LET'S GATHER OUR ITEMS...

For cooking simple, country styled scrambled eggs, like our momma's used to you will need the following:

*3 Eggs

1 Mixing Bowl

1 Fork or Whisk

1 Skillet (Pan)

1/3 cup milk (I used Almond Milk)

Cheese (Optional)

1 Teaspoon of butter (or your choice of oil)

This recipe serves two well, adjust as needed.

LaTonya's Tips: Keep it simple, no fancy equipment needed.

Have all of your ingredients out and prepped, this makes cooking less cumbersome or confusing.

LET'S GET TO MIXING...

Crack the eggs into the mixing bowl.

Add the 1/3 cup of milk.

*Gently stir/mix ingredients with the fork or whisk.

LaTonya's Tips: *Don't over-whisk (blender style ) your eggs

Be sure to clean up behind yourself with every step, this is a sign of a great cook...

Adding milk not only adds to the fluffiness of the eggs, but it "stretches" the portion of eggs and cause less shrinkage. Water can also be used, but you would use less of it. Experiment with your proportions.

LET'S HEAT THINGS UP...

Place your skillet on the eye.

Add the 1 teaspoon of butter in the skillet.

Set the temperature to medium high.

Allow butter to melt and coat the entire bottom of the skillet.

LaTonya's Tips: Swivel the skillet in a circle so that the butter coats the entire bottom of the pan.

Heat varies depending on type of stove and heat source (electric or gas). Med-Hi tends to sizzle the contents in the skillet. We want the eggs to cook as soon as it hits the pan.

Pour the mixture of eggs and milk in the hot skillet

Allow the edges of the egg to scramble and cook.

Gently fold the cooked egg back into the middle of the pan.

Continue to do this until the egg is no longer runny yet still fluffy yet firm and moist.

Remove eggs from heat immediately. (Very Important!! We don't want the eggs to continue cooking.)

LaTonya's Tips: Be sure to gently and fold the skillet content as it cooks, stirring too swiftly will cause the eggs to lose its fluffy texture.

LET'S ENJOY...

Put cooked eggs on a dish.

Salt and Pepper to taste.

Add cheese. (optional)

Serve and Enjoy...

LaTonya's Tips: If you are cooking multiple items, you should opt to cook your eggs last so they can be served hot.
