Simple at Home Lavender Soap
Do you ever get bored and want to make something different and something you can use? Well here's an easy soap recipe that's easy, fun, and that smells wonderful. This soap makes your hands and your kitchen smell so good just from using it one time, it has just 10 easy steps, and kids 10+ can make this!
Supplies
Here are the materials and ingredients you need:
- Soap Mold
- Microwave-safe bowl
- Something to cut with
- Lavender Scent
- Soap (I used double butter glycerin soap and 2.5lb of it)
- Flowers for soap (optional)
- Food coloring
Gather All of Your Ingreadiants
Get all of your supplies ready and make sure you have everything to start.
Getting Your Soap Ready
Measure your soap and put it in the bowl. I cut into smaller blocks then heat it in the microwave for thirty seconds and stir each time in between until it's melted.
Add Your Food Coloring
Add 2-5 drops of whatever colorant and mix till it's all combined.
Add Your Sent
Add your lavender sent (3-6 drops) and mix it all together.
Pour Your Mix Into the Mold
After its all mixed together pour it carefully into your mold.
Add Your Flowers
Add in flowers or any other fun things on top.
Let It Harden
Let it sit for at least 4 hours or until it's fully hardened.
Push the Soap Out of Mold
Carefully push your soap out of the mold onto a cutting board.
Cut Your Soap
Cut your soap using a knife or a soap cutter. Cut into bars of soap at least 1 inch thick.
Ready to Use!
Once it's cut it's ready to use! Run it underwater to smell the wonderful lavender scent or pack it up as a gift and give it to your friends and family!
