Simple and Cheap Water Leak Alarm Sound and Light

Water Leak is a problem that can happen in almost every home. I made a simple alarm Circuit for water leak warning. I hope it works for you too.
Supplies
• Mini plastic container (I've used a toothpick box)
• 2N2222, 2N3904 or any other NPN transistor
• 5mm Animated LED (You can get from a cheap ugly battery powered candle.) This Ugly Things
• 12mm Piezo Buzzer for Annoying Alarm (You can get from broken UPS or cheapp door alarm)
• M3x10 Bolts&Nuts
• Fork Terminal Cable Lug
• scrap cable
• 9V Battery
• 680R 1/4W Resistor
• 1K Resistor
Prepare Container




Drill 3 hole bottom of the plastic container. Mount nuts and bolts together with cable lugs for water contact terminal. Solder cable to lugs for connect the circuit board.
Solder the Circuit


Solder the parts according to schematics. After that install battery and the circuit board inside the box.
You've Done. Test It
