Simple Sterling Ring

This is a simple ring band I made in sterling silver. It is a piece of half-round silver wire with the flat side out, and soldered closed with silver solder. The line decorations were struck with a mallet, and then rubbed with a chemical patina agent to create the black color. I made this over a year ago, and since then it has seen heavy wear and scratches, but I like the simplicity of it and the imperfect way the lines are spaced.
