Here is a Simple LinkIt ONE 3D Printed Prototyping Kit if you getting started LinkIt ONE board. 3D print the STL file attached which snap fit together with space for the battery and antenna. And if you plan on prototyping add a breadboard on top as shown in the picture above.

In addition , you have a couple of more options where you can use a power tool like the dremel to drill holes into the case to attach other components like a servo and sensors. And if you have purchased the Grove starter kit you can attach two sensor to the serial and I2C plug and play port on the LinkIt one board as shown in the third picture above.

Download the STL files attached and using 3D printing software slice and 3D print the files. Here you have two options one with screw holes at the bottom for 4X40 screws if you plan on mounting it on a wall or a wooden surface and the other without.

In my case I am using Repetier-Host as my 3D printing software with the Printrbot Simple metal, and the slicer set at 0.2mm layer height .

And printing the files should takes about hour and 30 mins. In addition, I am using Makerbot white 1.75mm PLA filament for 3D printing.

If you don't have a 3D printer handy you can use one at your local maker club or library or use a 3D printing service like 3D hubs.

Now if you learning or plan to building a simple circuit that would fit on a mini bread boar or simply learning , download the STL file attached and 3D Print it.

And printing the file should takes about 30 mins. Here I am using Hatchbox Orange 1.75mm PLA filament for 3D printing.

Then stick the mini breadboard on the 3D printed part just below the LED slot, and you are now ready to create you circuit.

Other Options for the Top - Drill You Screws

Now once you are done prototyping and you have finalized you project you can 3D print the simple top STL file attached.

User a power tool like Dremel to drill holes to secure the components.

3D printing the files should take about 30 mins. In addition, I am using Makerbot white 1.75mm PLA filament for 3D printing.

I have used this top case in the Blinds Automation project using LinkIt ONE.

Now if you have purchase Grove starter kit to make some awesome IoT projects ,you can attach two sensor to the serial and I2C plug and play port on the LinkIt one board as shown in the third picture above. In my case I am adding an LCD and button switch with 4X40 screws and nuts.

3D printing the files should take about 30 mins. In addition, I am using Makerbot white 1.75mm PLA filament with the Slicer set to 0.2mm layer height..
