Simple Laser Cut Claw

This is a simple claw I made Rhino 5. Its not worth anything functionality wise, unless you are pretty good at attaching servos to things. Its kind of a fun toy or desk item. Just thought I'd share it with y'all!

This is the cut file for the claw. I used 1/8" (0.125") Delrin and my schools Epilog Laser Cutter. It works best with 1/8" Delrin or other 1/8" materials. I am not sure if you can import a Rhino 5 (.3dm) file into SolidWorks but AutoCAD should take it.

Ok for starters, if you used anything thicker or thinner than 1/8" material, your screw sizes will differ. I used 5 (1" No.6 Machine Screws) as well as 4 (3/4" No.6 Machine Screws) and 9 (No.6 Stainless Nuts). A cordless drill does wonders in helping for this part. I suggest layering your pieces the screwing on the last face. Have patience and enjoy your claw! You can even use a servo to motorize it!
