Simple Electric Screwdriver
This hobby gearmotor is normal and cheap, its rotating speed and torque is ideal for hobby electric screwdriver.
All you need to do is designing a connector in Tinkercad and printing it out.
The connector has a hole on each end. One is for the gearmotor, another is for the screw bit.
Supplies
Hobby Gearmotor
Screw Bits
Batteries or USB Charger
Design in Tinkercad
The size of your screw bits probably not the same as mine. So I did not upload the printing file of my connector, you need design one by yourself.
Very simple design, not much to say.
But a notice. If you want to put screw bit in the hole, the size of the hole should be a little bit bigger than the size of screw bit.
So is the hole for the gearmotor.
The connector requires strength.
Just print it with 100% infill , such a small piece costs little material.
Power Supply
The working voltage of the hobby gearmotor is 3-6V.
If you use AA or AAA batteries, you can use 2,3 or 4 of them. The speed and torque will be different under different voltage.
Or cut a USB cable and connect the gearmotor with a charger(5V). It's more economical.
How to Switch the Rotating Direction
There're two simple ways:
1.Switch the positive and negative wires of gearmotor.
2.Swtich the connector to another side of the gearmotor.
