Simple & Easy Crochet Book Cover

This is an easy and simple crochet book cover that can be made in just an afternoon or a weekend depending on your experience with crotchet.

• 100% Cotton Yarn
• Crochet hook size of 1.6 mm
• Tape measure
• Scissors
• Needle

The first step is to measure the width and the length of the book you want to make a cover for.

The width of the book is width of the outside of the book + 2-3 inch inside of the book such that a pocket can be made so the book cover can slide in

1st Row: Make a crochet chain as long as two times the width of the book including the width of the inside of the book.

2nd Row: Put a single crochet in each chain.

When 2nd row is complete for 3rd row make 3 chain and turn the work and make a double crochet in chain and complete the double crochet by taking a chain while skipping one chain downwards and making a chain upwards

Make 3 chain and turn the work and make a double crochet in each gap while making a chain upwards and downwards. Continue this till the 2nd last row

In the last row make a single crochet in each chain

Depending on the size of your book and your preference from each vertical side of the crochet the turn each side inside and stitch with the needle on the top and Botton on both sides
