Simple Dollhouse Sofa

This is a great fun, easy craft to make. It doesn't take much time to make too. A dollhouse sofa is a great gift or even just for yourself. It can be made with foam instead of card and material can be leather.

Enjoy!

- Cardboard (thick)

- Cutting tool (e.g. crafting knife, scissors)

- Fabric, I used two colours that worked well together one for cushions and one for the base

- Hot glue

Cut the card the sizes on the pic and sort into two piles; the cushions and the base.

Cut four: 20cm x 6cm - Put two aside and cut the other two into even thirds

Cut two: 5cm x 3.5cm

Take your card and lay it on the fabric. Cut about 1-2cm around the outside of the fabric. Do this to the other pieces of card make sure the colours right if your doing two colours.

Squirt some hot glue onto the card and press the fabric onto it. Think of this as wrapping a present, it doesn't have to be perfect as some card won't be seen. Do this to the other pieces of card.

Gather your wrapped base pieces. Take the two long ones and glue them together to make an "L" like shape. Then glue smaller pieces on the ends/edges either side. It should look like the picture.

Grab your 6 cushions take 3 of them and glue them to the bottom of the base. Take the other cushions and glue them to the back of the base. Make sure the bottom lot of cushions and the back lot of cushions are just touching. This is quite hard to explain, but your sofa should match the pic. Now your done!!!!!!!
