Simple Chicken Biriyani for Beginners | Koli Biriyani for Bachelors

Simple chicken biriyani for beginners | koli biriyani for bachelors is very simple with tender texture with rich flavors of all spices perfect for bachelors or for beginners.

Ingredients:

Chicken Rice Ghee Cooking oil Onion Tomato Ginger garlic paste Corriander leaf Pudina Methi leaves Salt to taste Chilli powder Corriander powder Biriyani masala Bay leaf Saunf cardamom cinnamon cloves mace/ javitri Kasuri methi water

Step 1:

Take a pressure cooker and heat it on medium flame. Add 3 tablespoon of cooking oil and 1 tablespoon of ghee.

Once the oil is hot, add all the masala (Bay leaf, Saunf, cardamom, cinnamon, cloves, mace/ javitri) and fry it for 20 sec.

And now add chopped onion and fry it until it turns golden brown, now add ginger garlic paste, and fry it until the oil gets separated.

Step 3:

Add chopped tomatoes and fry it for 30 sec

Add turmeric powder, chilli powder, coriander powder, Biriyani masala and salt to taste. Fry it nicely by adding few tablespoon of water.

Lets add chicken, chopped pudina, corriander and methi leaf (Methi this is optional)and mix it well. Cover the cooker with lid and fry it for 2 min on low flame

Now add rice, and water (1:2 ratio water), kasuri methi and few drops of lemon juice. Cover the cooker with the Lid and whitsle 3 times.

Cool the cooker and open it and mix well. Biriyani is ready to serve.
