Simple Card and Dice Trick

Before I start, I would like to say that I learned this trick off of a episode of "Chris Angel Mindfreak".

Here's what you need:

1. A full deck of cards
2. Two die or dice (unsure of correct term)
3. Something to write with
4. Something to write on (paper, duh)
5. Someone to trick

Before you start the trick, count to the 14nth card down (top to bottom) then write it down on the paper. Do not let the trickee see what you write down. To start, get the trickee to roll the dice. (no shuffling needed) To get the trick to work, add the dice numbers, then flip the dice over to the opposite side, and add that to the total. No matter what is rolled, the total, if added correctly, will always equal 14. Then you count to the 14nth card down. If you did it correctly, the card should be the one written on the paper. Then show the trickee your "prediction". Remember: A magician never reveals his secrets.
