Simple Belt Clip for FitBit Flex

I love my FitBit, but got really tired of it being on my wrist all the time. Here's a quick and easy way to make a clip for the FitBit Flex to wear on the belt. When I sleep, I either put it in the pocket of my sleep shorts or attach it to the drawstring.

Items Needed

  4. Scissors
  5. Butter knife

  7. Fitbit Flex tracker.

Let's Go!

Start by cutting a 5-1/2 inch piece of 1-inch tubular webbing. NOTE: If you don't have access to tubular webbing and don't feel like having to order a bunch just to get one crummy little piece, make your own! Cut a piece of material 5-1/2 x 3 inches and roll it over on itself and glue it with your super glue. Use the butter knife inside your tube to keep from gluing it shut.

With nylon webbing, you may want to use the lighter to singe the cut edges, as they can tend to fray.

Now on one end of your tube, slide that butter knife in there (again, we don't want any glue seeping through and gluing this thing closed) and glue on one piece of your velcro, 3/4x1-3/8 close to the end of the tube.

Turn it over and do the same on the other end. Remember to use the opposing piece of velcro, one has hooks and the other loops.

Slide the FitBit into the tube, moving to about the midpoint of the tube, fold both ends over to where the velcro fastens it shut.

VoilĂ ! You are done.

Hope you have enjoyed my instructable.
